Golden Dawn Initiation

The Golden Dawn Tradition taught by our Order adepts is designed to lead the aspirant towards Self- Mastery. This is achieved through what is refered to as "Spiritual Alchemy". It is the state where inner opposing forces within the self no longer conflict with each other, however, begin to work in peace and harmony. It is through this spiritual progression and the effects of initiation that the aspirant is prepared to learn the mysteries of the Magic of Light.

While Self-Mastery is potentially present in all of humans, it is best unlocked through spiritual initiation properly taught and nurtured within the aspirant as he or she evolves through the grades of the Golden Dawn system.
The Skills to achieve this cannot be imparted through mere book learning. They must be acquired through hands-on program of instruction as the student evolves through the grade system of the Golden Dawn.

The Holy Order of the Golden Dawn grades are:

• 0=0 Neophyte
• 1=10 Zelator - Earth (Malkuth)
• 2=9 Theoricus- Air (Yesod)
• 3=8 Practicus - Water (Hod)
• 4=7 Philosophus- Fire (Netzach)
• Portal of the Vault oft the Adepti

In each Golden Dawn grade, the student will learn to acquire the power and benefit of that grade, as well as developing the skills that will last a lifetime. These are internal powers that cannot be purchased in a book, rather, they come only through a traditional initatic Mystery School.Our Golden Dawn initiatic Mystery school is dedicated to the "Great Work" and towards the higher development of your spirtual growth through the Magical Way of Life. The Teachings of our Golden Dawn Order are as old as time itself. Through the Western Mystery Tradition and the Classical Golden Dawn system of Magic, Our Sanctuary provides classes, Group Rituals, Weekend Retreats, and Magical Training to all it's members in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. We also provide Golden Dawn correspondence courses for Canadian residents who live more than a 1 hours drive from the Toronto Golden Dawn Temple.
